About
About Sophie
Sophie discovered the power of fitness through martial arts as a teenager, during which time she also spoke at the House of Lords about her experience of living with multiple chronic conditions, specifically type 1 diabetes. She also has her own experience of cancer.
Her career started in nursing and paramedic science, before moving on to one of the largest GP practices in her borough, with over 19,000 patients. She left in 2019 to start her own marketing business with a strong focus on public health, and has since worked on campaigns including Dying Matters (with North London Hospice and Healthwatch), Riding for the Disabled Association and JDRF.
She is now a certified personal trainer as well as an NHS health and wellbeing coach. She hopes to keep encouraging people who are underestimated to prove others wrong.

FAQs
Questions people ask
Will I need a doctor's certificate?
You may need one if you have a medical history that could affect your ability to train. We'll discuss this in your initial consultation.
What can I expect from a session?
A session usually lasts around an hour. It starts with a warm-up, followed by your main training programme, and finishes with a cool-down. Sessions vary from one to the next depending on your needs, goals and progress.
What if I find exercise too hard?
I work with all levels. If you're finding something particularly hard, there's nothing wrong with saying so. You know your body better than anyone, so tell me and we'll find something that works for you.
Can I choose when I work out?
Sessions are booked on a first come, first served basis, and I aim to be as flexible as possible.
What if I need to cancel?
Please give at least 12 hours' notice. You get one free short-notice cancellation; after that, late cancellations are charged.
How long do sessions and packages last?
Pay as you go sessions are valid for 90 days. Packages are valid for 1 year. On a monthly plan you can roll over 1 unused session a month (valid for 3 months), or have a remote session sent to you instead.
Do you do meal plans?
I give general, evidence-based nutrition guidance to help you reach a fitness goal. If you need advice to treat a medical condition, that's a job for a registered dietitian or your doctor.
I've been referred by a friend. Do they get anything?
Yes. If you sign up to a monthly plan or package, the person who referred you gets a free session. Just tell me who sent you.
